ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

Founded in 1986, Chrysalis House, Inc. is one of Maryland’s premier providers of addiction treatment services for women and their children. The organization has grown from a 10 bed program in Pasadena, Maryland to a regional agency serving over 100 women annually.

Chrysalis House, Inc. Mission

The mission of Chrysalis House, Inc. is to transform the lives of women and children by providing comprehensive recovery programs and services that support the development of their inherent strengths, talents, and potentials.

 

Principles and Philosophies

Chrysalis House treatment programs are structured for each client to be successful. We implement proven and established strategies that work, tailoring to each specific client on a case-by-case basis:

  •  Twelve Step Programs: Alcoholics Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous

  •  Individual and Group Counseling

  •  Assessment and Treatment for Co-Occurring Mental Health Disorders 

  •  Environments of Learning and Development within Appropriate Limits and Boundaries

  •  Interactive Peer Groups

  •  Extensive Application of Community Resources to Meet Specific Needs
