Drug Addiction Treatment for Women Forum
On Monday, June 21, 2010, Executive Director Lorene Lake served as the keynote speaker at a forum hosted by the Open Society Institute (OSI) in Baltimore, Maryland. Lake emphasized that "a women's treatment program should be women centered--affirmative and safe as well as comprehensive and holistic." She advocated more women treatment facilities and funding. Roofers on a Mission
Chrysalis House treatment center, located in Crownsville, Maryland, is in desperate need of a roof. Roofing contractor Jay Killian founded Roofers on a Mission, a community-based volunteer group, to assist our nonprofit organization. Mr. Killian's crew and his church, the New Covenant Church of Arnold, Maryland are committed to provide the labor to replace the entire roof.
