Butterfly Boutique (coming soon)

The groundbreaking ceremony for the Butterfly Boutique occurred in Fall 2009. Girl Scouts Troop 913 of Edgewater, Maryland, led by troop Linda Antonini, is sponsoring the boutique as its Gold Award Project. The goal of the project is to provide residents with new skills and to increase their confidence and self-esteem.
The boutique will be a resale shop on the grounds of Chrysalis House in Crownsville, Maryland. The thrift shop will provide revenue for the Chrysalis House, as well as to provide job training and basic small business operation skills for clients in the treatment programs. The shop will sell clothing, household items and chotsky, art, books, furniture, multimedia, jewelry, and more.
Chrysalis House and Girl Scout Troop 913 are extremely appreciative of the efforts of everyone who is involved in the project. Multiple businesses, organizations, and individuals are committed to complete the boutique. A list is provided below.

Volunteers Needed
Use your expertise to make a big difference in the lives of women at Chrysalis House.
Girl Scout Troop 913 needs volunteers to assist the businesses and individuals who have committed to complete the boutique. The following workers are desired, immediately:
♦ carpenters
♦ drywall installers
♦ electricians
♦ tile installers
♦ utility companies (to connect water and sewer)
Opportunities are available to participate in brick fundraiser sponsorships:
$1,000 (Plantinum level)
$ 500 (Gold level)
$ 249 (Silver level)
$ 100 (Individual bricks or as a group)
The sponsors need donations of insulation to install in the boutique and food for the Fall 2010 dedication ceremony. Contact Linda Antonini at (410)507-2467 or lindaantonini@comcast.net to assist with the above opportunities.
